Sometimes people share short reflections connected to these gatherings.

These might be about:

  • comfort

  • change

  • care

  • growth

Sharing is always optional.

Funki Gatherings is a quiet space connected to my artwork.

It brings together moments where mushrooms, food, art, and people meet.
Some gatherings are planned.
Some happen naturally.

Funki is about slowing down, sharing warmth, and noticing the small things that connect us.

This Funki Gathering explored how mushrooms carry meaning across cultures.

Kinoko, Japanese for “child of the tree” represents nature, calm, nourishment, and winter comfort.

Glückspilz, German for “lucky mushroom,” represents good fortune, protection, and blessings.

People were invited to share warm soup, handmade art cards, and quiet conversation.
The card and flyer were given to those who connected with the moment and carried it forward.

Here I share

  • small gatherings and events I take part in or host

  • moments connected to mushrooms through art or food

  • simple acts of care, nourishment, and empowerment

  • occasional reflections offered by others

This is not a blog.
It is a gentle archive of moments
